At CSWS, community shapes everything we do. We believe diversity strengthens our school and enriches the experiences of our children. We are committed to recruiting, hiring, retaining, and welcoming students, families, educators, board members, and volunteers of all backgrounds, identities, and family structures.

We strive to nurture a space where every child, family, and educator feels welcomed, valued, and a true sense of belonging.

We also acknowledge that our school stands on the ancestral lands of the Duwamish people and honor their enduring connection to this land.

The Community School of West Seattle is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
